Mary joined Charlan · Brock · Architects in 1994.
Prior to moving to Florida in 1993, Mary studied at Ecole de Architecture in Versailles, France in 1984-85. She graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and then worked for two years in Chicago for architectural firms before continuing her professional education at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. She graduated in 1990 with a Master of Architecture with a concentration in Urban Design and became a licensed Architect, went on to obtain her NCARB certificate in 2007 and became a LEED AP in 2008. Mary is currently a licensed architect in 5 states.
Since joining CBA, Mary has worked on a wide variety of residential projects from mid-rise garden apartment buildings to oceanfront high-rise condominiums with parking garages. Whether a garden apartment complex or a high-rise condominium project, the dwelling units must be desirable in function and livability, meet ever-changing government regulations and still be constructed economically and efficiently. Every project has its own site challenges and requires close coordination with civic and landscape professionals. Mary has become proficient as a designer of a luxurious living experience at all market levels while solving the myriad of technical issues that always occur. She takes great care to meet our Client’s criteria while complying with all the regulations and construction requirements.
