NxNW is an eco-friendly Student Housing community within walking distance of Florida State University, offering 219 units and 679 beds that make it a valuable component of the surrounding urban fabric. NxNW’s scale and building placement were critical, resulting in a respectful integration within the neighborhood’s architectural character and adherence to the city’s urban planning criteria.
The site plan required the incorporation of a previously-existing deep retention pond, and with careful planning and thoughtful detail, it was transformed into a 1.6-acre water feature. Thanks to the close collaboration between our design team and the owner and contractors, NxNW earned the National Green Building Standard Bronze certification for creating an eco-friendly community.
