CBA Architects Revit Add-in · Charlan Brock Architects · Effective June 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the CBA Architects Revit Add-in (“the Software”), published by Charlan Brock Architects (“we,” “us”), handles information.
Information we collect
None. The Software runs entirely on your local computer within Autodesk Revit. It does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information, project data, usage analytics, or telemetry. It requires no account, registration, sign-in, license server, or internet connection to function.
How the Software uses your data
The Software reads and modifies only the Autodesk Revit project (.rvt) you have open, and only when you invoke one of its tools — for example, creating Publish Settings sets, adding sheet parameters, or building a drawing-index schedule. Any settings or deliverable data it creates are stored inside your Revit project file and never leave your machine.
Third parties
The Software does not send data to Charlan Brock Architects or to any third party. It contains no advertising networks, no analytics tools, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. Because no data is collected or shared, no third party (including any analytics provider, advertising network, or legal affiliate of the Publisher such as a parent, subsidiary, or related entity) receives your data. Should we ever engage a third party that would process data on our behalf, that party would be contractually required to provide at least the same level of data protection described in this policy, and this policy would be updated beforehand. Distribution and installation are handled by the Autodesk App Store under Autodesk’s own terms and privacy policy.
Data retention and deletion
We retain no data, because we collect none. The only data the Software creates — publish sets, sheet parameters, deliverable records, and the drawing-index schedule — is written into your own Autodesk Revit project file and stored only there, for as long as you keep it. You may edit or delete that data at any time from within Revit. We hold no copy of it and have nothing to retain or delete on our side.
Revoking consent and requesting deletion
Because the Software collects no personal data and transmits nothing to us, there is no consent for you to revoke and no data held by us for you to request deletion of. To remove data the Software added to a project, delete the relevant parameters, sets, or schedule within Revit, or uninstall the add-in. If you have any question about data or this policy, contact us using the details below and we will respond promptly.
Children’s privacy
The Software is a professional tool and is not directed to children. It collects no information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a revised effective date.
