Cody Roth serves as Associate Principal + Studio Director at CBA Architects. He joined the firm in 2013 before completing his graduate degree and has since built his entire professional career at CBA. Beginning in Construction Administration and advancing through Project Management into firm leadership, Cody now oversees a full design studio from Schematic Design through Construction Documents.
Over the course of his career, Cody has contributed to the development of more than 10,000 multifamily units across garden-style, mid-rise, urban, and student housing communities throughout the country. His approach to architecture is grounded in the belief that a well-coordinated set of drawings is not only a technical document but also a critical communication tool. He views the quality of the process as inseparable from the quality of the final result.
That same philosophy shapes the way Cody leads his team. At his core, he is a builder of projects, processes, and people, committed to fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth throughout every phase of design and delivery.
Cody earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Ball State University and his Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois. He is also involved with the Urban Land Institute, reflecting his continued interest in the growth and evolution of thoughtfully designed communities.
Outside of the office, Cody enjoys spending time with his family and can often be found on Cub Scout outings with his sons.
