Allen Dapson joined Charlan Brock Architects in 2000 with a diverse background, and from the beginning was a great fit with the CBA family. His expert understanding of how to put together a solid set of plans quickly became evident, and he was rapidly promoted to a Project Manager. Allan is a skilled and pragmatic problem solver with a congenial and personal management style which is appreciated by both clients and team members alike.

Allen’s wide-ranging experience—with projects spanning residential, retail, restaurants, timeshares, hotels, mixed use, mid-rise, and high-rise—is one of his greatest strengths. For condos and apartments alone, has developed over 15,000 units. Allen recognizes that the best designs come from healthy collaboration, not only between design and engineering teams, but owners, property management experts, and end users as well.

Allen’s passion for quality led him to establish our Best Practices division, which provides empowering tools and protocols for teams to excel in producing high quality work. He also established CBA’s Human Resource department, with an emphasis on preserving our unique and caring culture. His exemplary leadership skills and accomplishments were recognized in 2018 when he was named a Partner in our firm.
