Cristian O. Oquendo, AIA, serves as President + Chief Creative Officer at CBA Architects. Since joining the firm in 2014, Cristian has brought a unique commercial and entertainment design background shaped by his experience in Central Florida’s theme park industry.
His creative, outside-the-box approach to problem-solving allows him to deliver artistic solutions that thoughtfully balance design vision with technical precision. As a leader at CBA, Cristian guides the team in creating communities that harmoniously respond to their surroundings while fostering a collaborative culture that empowers team members to achieve the highest level of design excellence. Passionate about innovation, he embraces state-of-the-art technology and immersive visualization tools to help clients fully realize their goals and experience CBA’s thoughtfully designed architecture.
Cristian earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. He is a licensed architect in 14 states, holds an NCARB certification, is affiliated with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Urban Land Institute (ULI). Outside of architecture, Cristian enjoys DIY projects, outdoor cooking, and exploring the latest technology.
