CBA Architects is seeking a dedicated and energetic BIM Manager to join our BIM team. Applicants must be proficient in Revit. As a BIM Manager, you will work with the Director of BIM, and with BIM project teams to:

• Establish, develop and implement BIM processes and workflows
• Develop and maintain project-specific and office-wide parametric content
• Aid teams in BIM management by monitoring and streamlining Revit models
• Actively engage with design teams to troubleshoot and to ensure best BIM practices are being followed
• Assist teams with 3D coordination, interoperability and other BIM-specific workflows
• Train and coach teams in Revit and related architectural software

Scope of position

The Construction Administrator acts as a representative of the company throughout the construction phase of a project to ensure consistency with the construction documents. Collaborates with the project team, while overseeing the construction process, and accurately and quickly responds to questions in order to positively work towards the completion of the built product. Visits the project site, becoming familiar with the progress and quality of the work, and determines if the work is proceeding in general conformance with the drawings, specifications, and overall design intent of the project. Produces field observation reports and reviews contractor submittals, including shop drawings, product data, and samples for conformance with the design intent of the project.

The Construction Administrator will review and respond to Requests For Information (RFIs), and collaborate with the project design team, when needed, in reviewing submittals and RFIs. They will review and execute Certificates for Payment provided by the contractor, participate in Owner/Architect/Contractor Meetings, and perform building inspection for the purpose of issuing a Certificate of Substantial Completion.

This position is full time with availability during business hours, and may require some travel. Salary and benefits are commensurate with position and qualifications. The person in this position must be friendly and genuinely interested in the business, agenda, and needs of others, including the company, its management, the team, the company’s clients, or all of the above.

A faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position. Detail work is a major focus of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently. This portion of the work will often focus on relationships with others; correct handling of details dealing with others is necessary to maintain and grow relationships.
