PRINCIPAL AND PARTNER
For over thirty-five years Butch has honed his skills at understanding the science and art of partnering with his clients. He thinks of it as a collaboration in the creative process. It is a journey whose mission it is to yield a design solution that is in harmony with what the client perceives to be critical parameters and what may lie within the client’s subconscious knowledge and only needs to be encouraged to come out. Additionally, he knows how to draw on the expertise that he either has or can access from the talented staff and consultants that share in the process with him. From Butch’s perspective, this is a passionate journey of empowerment that is not complete until the architecture is built and functioning above all expectations. The highest standards must be exceeded from a marketability, constructability and sustainability perspective in order for the project to be a true success.
